28 Feb: Confessions of a ‘Greenpeace Dropout’ to the U.S. Senate on climate change

Statementof Patrick Moore, Ph.D. Beforethe Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, Subcommittee on Oversight February25, 2014 “Natural Resource Adaptation: Protecting ecosystems and economies” Chairman Whitehouse, Ranking Member Inhofe, and members of the Committee. Thank you for the opportunity to testify at today’s hearing. In 1971, as a PhD student in ecology I joined an activist group in a church basement in Vancouver Canada and sailed on a small boat across the Pacific to protest US Hydrogen bomb testing in Alaska. Scientists baffled as Sun activity falls to century low

THE Sun’s activity has plummeted to a century low, baffling scientists and possibly heralding a new mini-Ice Age.

“I’ve been a solar physicist for 30 years, and I’ve never seen anything quite like this,” Richard Harrison, head of space physics at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire, told the BBC in a 18 January 2014 report..

“If you want to go back to see when the Sun was this inactive… you’ve got to go back about 100 years,” he said.

IPCC computer models do not accord with observations

The graphic below reveals the IPCC global warming hypothesis to be overblown scaremongering. The graphic is taken from a draft of the IPCCs September 2013 report. The coloured portions of the chart show various IPCC computer projections. The actual observations (in black) show no noticeable increase in global temperatures for the past 15 years, notwithstanding millions of tonnes of extra CO2 being pumped into the atmosphere.
